End of the road for USS Enterprise

USS Enterprise finished her last deployment and will soon head to the scrapyard. Because it is necessary to cut away her decks to remove the ship's eight A2W nuclear reactors, it isn't possible to put her back together for preservation.

Notably, pieces of the earlier Enterprise (CV-6) were incorporated into her nuclear namesake. Port holes from the earlier ship exist in the captain's cabin. No word yet if these will be removed before CV-65 is scrapped.
